Taking the First Steps Towards Recovery

You’ve taken the first exciting steps toward the recovery of your health, which is your most valuable possession.

Just a quick note to thank you for selecting our office and to let you know how much we look forward to helping you.

In our office, we see patients with a variety of health problems respond to
chiropractic care. To help you get the most out of your investment of time
and money, here are some suggestions we share with our new patients:

  • Give your body time to heal. Healing is a process that takes time and is influenced by many factors. Re-training muscles and soft tissues needed to support your spine properly can take weeks to months of intensive care. Keep a positive attitude and be reassured that you are doing the best thing possible to keep your body healthy.

  • Do your homework. In many ways, what you do at home and at work can have a profound effect on your progress. This is the time to eat right, rest, and get the proper exercise. We will offer specific suggestions in future visits.

  • Keep your appointments. Each visit helps build on the ones before. Your care recommendations are based on our success with other patients with similar health problems.

After Care Instructions:

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Try to eliminate caffeine, alcohol and nicotine

  • Ice for 15 minutes on, 45 minutes off
